New House!

In March, Christian and I bought our first house and have been loving it ever since! When we first moved in, if felt like we were staying in a hotel. Going from a small one-bedroom apartment to this 4 bedroom, 2-story house was quite an adjustment....but definitely one we were willing to make! In our apartment, Christian and I never got more than 10 feet away from each other, so when we first moved in and found that we could be in the house at the same time but in different rooms...it was like a miraculous awakening!!! We had no idea what to do with with all the SPACE. But we're definitely getting the hang of things now. :)

I'm A Terrible Blogger!

I really am a terrible blogger...I have no problem admitting that. I have to be honest, i get a bigger kick out of reading everyone else's blog page than actually posting my own. So here's my post for the next 6 months. :)

What Happens in Vegas...Get's Captured on Film!

Christian and I recently took a weekend trip to Las Vegas and visited Siegfried & Roy’s Secret Garden and Dolphin Habitat at the Mirage. We had a great time watching the dolphins swim around and around in circles in their tanks (we thought about reenacting "Free Willie," but decided against it) and enjoyed seeing the enormous siberian tigers and baby cubs. While we were there, Mr. Siegfried himself arrived for a visit! He was super nice and didn't mind taking a picture with all us Boise folks. Pretty cool!

A Brief Up-Date

So life is going pretty darn good, I would have to say. Christian is doing awesome at work (he's running the joint) and I'm loving the humane society. It's a good thing I live in an apartment otherwise I would have adopted about a gazillion doggies by now. I'll try and take some pictures so you can see some of these little guys. My latest buddy is a Pit Bull/Char pei mix. Oh my goodness is he cute! He's got a wrinkly little face but a lean body like a pit bull. He knows all his manners (like sit, stay, shake, and "make me a sandwich"). :) I can't believe he hasn't been adopted yet.

I have to say again how awesome it was to have you up here for Christian and my party! I literally tear up when I think about how happy I was to see you...no kidding...in fact I'm getting all blubbery right now. :) You really made that night super special for me...I can't tell you how awesome it was! Thank you so much!

I miss you like crazy and will try to get some more pictures on this blog thingy. Love you!

Aren't You Proud?

Well, Janelle, this is a big move for me. I've finally set up my own "blog." (I'm not really even sure what I'm supposed to do with it...but whatever!) I mostly signed up so I could write comments on you're blog. :) I hope I don't look like too much of a noob!
